Summary

Through a series of visits to the Nokia campus in Vimercate, TEA members had the opportunity to explore the inner workings of one of the world’s leading technology companies. During these events, students attended technical presentations on the main R&D activities at Nokia Italy, with a specific focus on key areas such as Optical Networks, Microwave systems, and innovative Fiber Sensing technologies. The experience was enriched by guided tours of highly specialized facilities, including the Optics and Microwave labs, the PIC (Photonic Integrated Circuits) lab, the anechoic chamber, and the Innovation Hub, where end-to-end solutions and technology demos were showcased.
